I am SO excited to be starting this blog! I have always had a personal blog {kevinandgillian.blogspot.com} that I mixed crafts and DIY projects with my personal life. I decided to seperate the two, and I couldn't be more excited about it. This is a new adventure. I am new to this whole craft blogging thing. So hopefully you wont judge me too closely since I am learning. ;)

Here you will find a mixture of things: beauty/hair tips {since I love beauty and I am a cosmetologist}, crafts and DIY projects, recipes, decor tips, and maybe a few personal things such as me sharing a parenting experience or whatnot. This is what I am calling a 'lifestyle blog' and hopefully you will find it interesting!

My hopes for the future of this blog is to inspire others through doing and sharing things I love. And I REALLY love handmade things! Handmade things are one of a kind. They are thought about, they are often a depiction of one's personality. I hope to feature people who make handmade things and share the love of them with me. I have always dreamed of having one of those blogs where people get inspired by, and can relate to. I've always been so inspired by real life bloggers. Who share the good, the bad, the happy, the sad. The perfect, and imperfect. Bloggers like Whitney Ulrich from A Mommy's Life With a Touch Of Yellow, or Ashley Stock from Little Miss Momma. If only I could be half as inspiring as those ladies! A girl can dream...

It is true though that I just want to make beautiful things- even if nobody cares. Creating things makes me happy. God blessed me with hands that are able to create- so everyday I try to use them for the good to make beautiful things.
